Welcome to Resinistic.

These Terms of Service explain the terms and conditions that apply when you visit our website, place an order, or purchase from Resinistic.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.


1. About Resinistic

Resinistic is a handmade keepsake and personalised gift business based in Malta.

We create handmade resin items, souvenirs, keepsakes, personalised gifts, ready-made items, and custom-made products.


2. Products

Our products include handmade and personalised items such as resin souvenirs, magnets, keychains, plaques, coasters, bookmarks, trinket trays, gift boxes, photo keepsakes, and other custom or ready-made gifts.

Product descriptions, sizes, colours, packaging details, and prices are listed on each product page where applicable.

We do our best to ensure that product photos, descriptions, and colours are as accurate as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on screen or monitor settings.

As our items are handmade, slight variations in colour, finish, placement, and overall appearance may occur.


3. Custom-Made Items

Custom-made items are handmade to order and may include personalisation such as names, dates, wording, colours, flakes, photos, flowers, petals, or other design details.

After placing your order, we may contact you to confirm the details before production begins.

For personalised text or photo items, a preview may be sent for approval before the final sealing or finishing stage.

Please check all names, dates, wording, photos, and details carefully before approving. Once an item has been sealed, finished, or completed, changes may not be possible.

We kindly ask that you reply as soon as possible when we send previews, samples, or questions regarding your order. Delayed replies may delay the production or completion of your order.


4. Production Time

Custom-made items are handmade to order. As a general guide, please allow 1–3 weeks for production.

Small orders can often be completed within around 1 week, but please always check with us before ordering if you need your item by a specific date.

Production time may vary depending on:

• Item type
• Quantity ordered
• Level of customisation
• Design details
• Photo or text approval
• Resin curing time
• Current order schedule
• Seasonal demand
• Material availability

Larger orders, souvenir orders, wedding orders, Christmas orders, and seasonal orders may require more time.

Ready to Ship items are already made and can usually be collected or delivered sooner.

If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability.


5. Orders and Payments

For orders placed directly through the website, full payment is taken at checkout.

For custom orders placed through Messenger, Facebook, Instagram, email, or other direct messages, a deposit is required to confirm the order.

Work on custom-made and personalised items will only begin once the order details and payment or deposit have been confirmed.

For message orders, the remaining balance must be paid before collection or delivery.

Prices are shown in euros (€). We reserve the right to update prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid.


6. Deposits, Cancellations and Refunds

Once work on a custom-made or personalised order has started, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded, as materials, design preparation, personalisation, and production time have already been allocated to your order.

Deposits for custom-made or personalised orders are non-refundable once work has started.

If you wish to cancel an order before work has started, please contact us as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to complete it within the required timeframe, if the requested materials are unavailable, or if the order cannot be fulfilled as requested.

If we need to cancel an order before work has started, or due to insufficient time or material availability, a full refund will be issued.

Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.


7. Ready to Ship Items

Ready to Ship items are already made and available as shown.

These items are usually available for collection or delivery sooner than custom-made items.

Unless otherwise stated, Ready to Ship items are sold as shown and may not include personalisation.

If you have any questions about a Ready to Ship item, please contact us before placing your order.


8. Photos and Personalisation Details

For personalised or custom-made orders, you may provide photos, names, dates, wording, colour preferences, design requests, or other personal details.

These details are used to create and fulfil your order, communicate with you about your order, prepare previews where applicable, and provide customer support.

We may share photos of finished products on our website, social media pages, or other promotional materials as part of our portfolio and to showcase our work.

Where finished products include personal photos, we will blur or cover the image unless the customer has given consent for the photo to be shown clearly.

We may also share finished souvenirs or personalised items that include details such as names, dates, occasion wording, or similar customisation, unless you ask us not to do so.

If you would prefer that we do not share your finished item online, please let us know at any time. If an image has already been uploaded and you would like it removed, you may contact us and we will remove it as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup is available from Żurrieq by appointment.

Delivery to Malta and Gozo is available by courier for €5.

We offer free delivery on orders over €80.

For courier delivery, please provide an address where someone is usually available during the day, as deliveries are normally carried out during daytime hours.

If daytime delivery is not convenient, pickup from Żurrieq can be arranged instead at an agreed date and time.

As pickup is by appointment, kindly let us know in advance if you are unable to make it at the agreed time, so we can rearrange accordingly.

If you need your order by a specific date, please let us know before ordering.


10. Handmade Items and Variations

Each item is handmade and poured one by one, so slight variations in colour, finish, placement, and overall appearance may occur.

For larger orders such as souvenirs, the requested colour will be followed as closely as possible. However, as resin is mixed and poured by hand in small batches, slight colour variations may occur between pieces.

As colours are mixed by hand, the final shade may vary slightly from the original sample or reference photo.

Small bubbles or slight handmade imperfections may be present and are part of the nature of handmade resin items.

These handmade variations do not make the item faulty.


11. Resin Care

Resin items are durable, but they should still be handled with care.

Please avoid leaving resin items in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or inside a hot car, as excessive heat may soften the resin or affect the colour and finish.

To care for your resin item:

• Keep away from direct heat and strong sunlight
• Do not leave in a car, especially during warm weather
• Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive products
• Clean gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth
• Do not soak in water
• Handle with care and avoid dropping
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use

Resin items are decorative keepsakes and should not be placed in dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, or exposed to high heat.


12. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please check your order as soon as you receive it.

If your item arrives damaged, incorrect, or there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and clear photos of the item and packaging.

We will review the issue and advise you on the next steps.

Damage caused by misuse, dropping, heat exposure, incorrect care, or normal wear and tear is not considered a fault.


13. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Some materials, colours, flowers, flakes, packaging, charms, or other design elements may vary depending on stock availability.

If a material or design element is unavailable, we may contact you to discuss an alternative.

We reserve the right to discontinue, update, or change products at any time.


14. Website Information

We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date. However, errors may occasionally occur, including errors in product descriptions, prices, availability, or images.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, update information, or cancel an order if there has been a mistake.

If an order is affected by an error, we will contact you as soon as possible.


15. Intellectual Property

All images, designs, text, branding, product photos, and content on this website and our social media pages belong to Resinistic unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, use, or distribute our content without permission.

Custom designs created by Resinistic remain part of our work and portfolio, unless otherwise agreed in writing.


16. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, supplier delays, material shortages, severe weather, illness, technical issues, or other unexpected events.

We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect use, poor care, heat exposure, dropping, or failure to follow care instructions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law.


17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

Any updates will be posted on this page with the updated date.

By continuing to use our website or place orders after changes are made, you agree to the updated Terms.
